Our Commitment

DecodeDaily is committed to making our website and content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.

What We Do

  • All pages include skip navigation links for keyboard users.
  • All images have descriptive alt text.
  • Color contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 ratio (WCAG AA).
  • All interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
  • All form elements have associated labels.
  • Content is structured with proper heading hierarchy.
  • The site works with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS).
  • All functionality is available via keyboard.
  • We respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • Minimum touch target size of 44x44 pixels on mobile.

Content Accessibility

Our articles and guides are written at a 3rd to 4th grade reading level to ensure they are understandable by the widest possible audience. We use plain language, short sentences, and clear headings throughout the site.

Printable Puzzles

Our printable puzzles are designed with clear fonts and high contrast. Large print versions are available for people with low vision. We are working on accessible digital puzzle formats that work with assistive technology.

Known Limitations

We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Some older content may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are updating these pages on an ongoing basis.
